A drummer from early childhood, with a couple years of piano instruction before-hand, in his teens Peter’s interests moved from rock and popular to jazz and fusion. Playing full-time in lounge bands and playing jazz in his early twenties, he spent time in NYC soaking in the music scene and the top name jazz acts including Jack DeJohnette, Lenny White, John Scofield, Miles Davis, Thad Jones/Mel Lewis.

The next twenty years saw a balancing act between family and corporate life and music, with a rebirth over the past five years through his association with TriCity Jazz.  Peter has studied with Charlie Persip, Joe LaBarbara, Bill Melgari ( a Joe Morello disciple,) and Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez.
