Aaron started on the guitar at
an early age and held the guitar chair in several youth jazz ensembles as well as his high school rock/pop band. While studying
engineering in college (RPI, ChemEng/ MIT ChemEng), he continued playing guitar with a focus on jazz music and funk/organ
combos. A highlight from this time was performance at Ryles jazz club in Cambridge MA with the "Groove Merchants."
When traveling to Boston MA, Aaron recommends checking out the legendary Wally's jazz club http://www.wallyscafe.com/,
where top student musicians from the area perform nightly, with an absolutely smoking Thursday Night Latin Jazz feature.
Aaron also has played guitar in progressive rock bands in the NYC area.
More recently Aaron has picked
up the bass as his main instrument in ensemble
playing because of the role it plays in his favorite
music: jazz, r&b, latin styles, and baroque classical music. Aaron studies music in his spare time and
earns a living as a Chemical Engineer working in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
