STEVE JOHNSON

Steve has been playing trombone since High School, and since retirement from a career as a computer programmer. He is now giving full attention to improving his trombone playing.


Steve has been playing trombone since High School, and since retirement from a career as a computer programmer. He is now giving full attention to improving his trombone playing.


Steve currently attends the following jam sessions:

Monday at Jiggs (Butler)

Tuesday at The Crossroads (Garwood)

Wednesday at Hansil's (Oakland).


In addition to his jam session activities, Steve participates for the first hour of the Monday gig of the Vincent Troyani Jazz Combo at Home Town Buffet (Edison).

On Thursday he rehearses with a small group led by vocalist Yasko Koko. Steve also takes lessons from Laurie Frink in NYC.
